When you hit three home runs and one of them is a walk-off grand slam, you're entitled to showboat a little.

That's exactly what Khris Davis did when he finished off the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night to become the second A's player this week - after Danny Valencia on Sunday - to record a three-homer game.

The 28-year-old started his night with two homers off Rangers starter Cole Hamels, then smashed Shawn Tolleson's ninth-inning offering to Sacramento for the game-winning grand slam. Upon reaching home plate, Davis had a little fun and took a jump shot with his helmet before touching home.

Rangers players, who are known to not enjoy home-run celebrations, did not appear to enjoy Davis' antics.

"I didn't pimp the home run," Davis told reporters about his celebration, adding that he had the routine planned since last year and didn't think the Rangers would be upset.

The teams play again Wednesday afternoon. We may find out if Texas believes taking a jumper with your helmet is worse than a bat flip.
