Draymond Green suspended for Game 5 of NBA Finals
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will be suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, the league announced Sunday.
Green struck LeBron James between the legs late in the fourth quarter of Game 4 after James shoved Green to the ground and proceeded to walk over him. A double foul was called.

The league reviewed the incident and retroactively assessed Green a flagrant 1, while James was hit with a technical foul. It was deemed that Green made unnecessary contact with a retaliatory swipe of his hand.
Green had already accumulated three flagrant points prior to Game 4 so his fourth point automatically triggered a one-game suspension. His swift kick to the groin of Steven Adams counted for two points, while he also picked up another flagrant 1 for tackling Michael Beasley in the first round.
Reports suggest the Cavaliers pressured the league to punish Green for the infraction.
Green has arguably performed like the Warriors' best player in the Finals with averages of 14.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists while playing shutdown defense.
Golden State leads the series 3-1 as they return home for Game 5.
