Oakley: Barkley was never tough, hides behind TNT

Bad blood never dissipates.

Retired enforcer Charles Oakley took exception to Charles Barkley's comments during Wednesday's broadcast of "Inside the NBA" and called him out on Twitter.

Never one to hide his opinion, Barkley gave some controversial advice as he advocated for the Atlanta Hawks to essentially take somebody out and resort to violence in response to the Cleveland Cavaliers hitting 25 threes in Game 2.

Barkley was made aware of the tweet and addressed it a short while later on the broadcast.

"I don't have to worry about my toughness. Charles Oakley doesn't like me, which is no big deal. I don't like him or dislike him - I don't think about him. He's not important enough for me to think about," Barkley said.

The two bruisers have history dating back to 1996, when they got tangled up in a preseason game.
