Arsenal fans divided: Anti-Wenger protest shot down by vocal supporters

Arsenal supporters were of two minds in the stands at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners took on Norwich City on Saturday, protesting the job of manager Arsene Wenger with a coordinated showing that lacked the punch it had promised earlier in the week.

Supporters held up signs starting at the 12-minute mark calling for a change at the helm of the club:

All eyes were on Wenger as supporters expressed their frustration with missing out on yet another Premier League title, as the Gunners sit fourth in the table, still working to clinch a Champions League berth.

The signs were accompanied by plenty of empty seats in the stands, though not as many as in the Gunner's last home fixture in a 0-0 draw against Sunderland.

But not everyone was on board the "Wenger Out" train, as some fans also expressed their support for the embattled French manager with signs of their own.

Their backing was accompanied by songs and chants praising Wenger, who has guided the club to three Premier League titles, as well as six FA Cups and an equal amount of Community Shield triumphs.
