After the bong hit: 5 strangest moments in Laremy Tunsil's crazy night

The first round of the NFL draft annually changes the lives of 32 young men (31 this year thanks to the Patriots losing their pick), but nobody in the event's history has experienced a wilder night than Laremy Tunsil.

The Ole Miss tackle entered the draft expecting to be one of the first five names called. But what unfolded was the weirdest series of events in NFL draft history.

Here's the five craziest things that happened to Tunsil on Thursday.

1. Twitter video of Tunsil taking a bong hit leaks 10 minutes before draft

Just as everyone was settling in to see the Los Angeles Rams select Jared Goff, a video was posted on Tunsil's Twitter account showing the star tackle taking a massive bong hit through a gas mask. Unless you are applying to work on a Snoop Dogg tour bus, this is not the type of thing you want leaking right before a job interview. It was deleted six minutes after posting but the damage had been done, and social media blew up.

2. Tunsil falls to Miami at No. 13

Tunsil seemed like a surefire top-five pick, yet with the video circulating around the Internet, the free fall began. The Baltimore Ravens removed the Ole Miss star from their draft board entirely, and he fell to the Miami Dolphins at the 13th position. Following the selection, Tunsil was interviewed by hard-hitting journalist Deion Sanders on the draft stage. He completely owned up to the fact it was him in the video, and claimed that it happened possibly five years earlier (which nobody believes due to the Ole Miss flag visible in the background).

3. Deion Sanders asks Tunsil if his father hacked his account

It's generous to say that Sanders 'asked' if Tunsil's stepfather was the man behind the hacking, because it was more of a statement than a question. This may seem odd, but Tunsil was sued earlier this week by said stepfather, so revenge doesn't seem that far out of the question. The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder refused to name a culprit, claiming he didn't know who was behind it.

4. Tunsil's Instagram account is hacked, showing he took money from Ole Miss

Tunsil's time at Ole Miss can hardly be described as drama-free, as he served a seven-game suspension in his final season for impermissible benefits. The Instagram hacks show conversations with an assistant athletic director where he asked for rent payments and his mother's utility bills. At this point it's clear that either Tunsil has the weakest passwords in the history of passwords, or that someone is clearly out to ruin his night.

5. Admits to being paid at Ole Miss during press conference, immediately hustled off stage

During a press conference following the draft, Tunsil was asked about the texts and whether he accepted money while at Ole Miss. He responded saying "Nah, I wouldn't say that." The Rebels were certainly hoping he stopped talking at that point. He did not, and less than a minute later admitted the texts was an exchange with a coach for money. He was promptly hustled off stage by a public relations member.

Aftermath

The Dolphins got a steal, landing a top-five talent at the No. 13 spot. Tunsil will ink a multimillion-dollar contract and probably start at tackle in the NFL next season. Ole Miss, already under a NCAA investigation, likely became an even bigger target for further sanctions. A large portion of the country now knows that people actually wear a gas mask for recreational drug use, and everybody on social media is now strengthening their passwords.
