Here are theScore's center value rankings for Saturday, April 16:

Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Dwight Howard (HOU) | vs. GS | 8 |
Al Horford (ATL) | vs. BOS | 7 |
Howard has averaged a double-double against the Warriors this season and comes with a palatable salary. He looks like the best option at center. The Rockets won't be able to out-shoot Golden State, so look for Howard and James Harden to do most of the damage.
Horford is a well-rounded player, but he tends to be a better real-life player than fantasy player. A double-double is not a lock, and the Boston defense should limit his scoring.

Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Jonas Valanciunas (TOR) | vs. IND | 6 |
Steven Adams (OKC) | vs. DAL | 6 |
Andrew Bogut (GS) | vs. HOU | 6 |
Valanciunas' season averages of 12.8 points and 9.1 rebounds should be used in cash games. His limited scoring potential caps his value.
Bogut has also averaged a double-double in two games against the Rockets this year. He is a cheap option with strong tournament appeal thanks to his cheap salary.

Nothing to See Here
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Zaza Pachulia (DAL) | at OKC | 4 |
Ian Mahinmi (IND) | at TOR | 4 |
Jared Sullinger (BOS) | at ATL | 4 |
Pachulia posted 26 double-doubles on the season and was a dominant force early in the season. Like Bogut, he is another tournament play.
