Roberts ejected, roasted on Twitter after yanking Stripling
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was ejected from Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants after a surreal sequence of events that promises to trigger plenty of second-guessing.
Roberts, who was tossed for arguing balls and strikes shortly after pulling rookie Ross Stripling from an historic no-hit bid, became the subject of instant debate when Giants catcher Trevor Brown homered off Chris Hatcher to end the Dodgers' combined no-no effort.
Two innings later, Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford hit a walk-off homer to cap an improbable turn of events.
Im sick to my stomach if I'm a fan at the Giants game or a Dodgers fan that a stupid 100 pitch count limit has been determined before a game

Jeff Kellogg could've done everybody a favor and tossed Dave Roberts at the start of the inning #Dodgers #FreeRossStripling

Dave Roberts just took Ross Stripling out of a no-hitter with 100 pitches through 7 1/3 innings. Damn.
