According to Sports Illustrated's Tim Newcomb, Mike Trout and Carli Lloyd will join a host of other Nike athletes wearing black-and-gold shoes between now and April 13.
Rory McIlroy already contributed to the campaign when he took the course at Augusta National wearing his own black-and-gold golf shoes.
After 20 seasons and 57,000-plus minutes in the Association, Bryant will take the court for the final time when his Los Angeles Lakers host the Utah Jazz.
