Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones was released from hospital and is "doing fine," school spokesman Jerry Emig said, according to Tim May and Bill Rabinowitz of the Columbus Dispatch.
Jones was taken to the OSU Wexner Medical Center following practice late Wednesday night after suffering what multiple reports described as a headache, or what could have been a migraine.
Despite people close to Jones somewhat escalating the severity of the situation, the school never confirmed why Jones went to the hospital, or if he was even admitted.
Jones, who shocked the college world after winning the final three games last season en route to a national championship, is vying for the Buckeyes' starting quarterback job alongside J.T. Barrett.
