Michigan's Brady Hoke just doesn't want to talk about it, OK?

Michigan head coach Brady Hoke won't discuss his players' injuries, the Detroit Free Press reports.

“We’re not going to talk about any of those guys who didn’t play,” Hoke said of the injury list that includes receiver Devin Funchess, safety Jarrod Wilson, cornerback Raymon Taylor and linebacker Desmond Morgan.

Why not, Brady?

“Because I don’t feel like it."

Oh, alright then. Despite a 34-10 win over Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, the aforementioned starters didn't see the field. He also refused to talk about tight end Khalid Hill, who left Saturday's contest with a hamstring injury.

But come on, Brady. If you won't tell us about injuries, at least tell us why.

“No. 1, you want to be forthright and all of that stuff,” he said. “But what happens is you say a guy may be all right, and all of a sudden, he's not progressing through the week like we thought he would. He has a setback, and all of a sudden, he doesn't play. And then everybody thinks you're trying to hide something.

"But that's not the purpose. No. 1, it's to protect the kids for where they're at. I think, in general, we just don't need to talk about them."

Fair enough. At this point, it's going to be unclear week in and week out who will take the field, who will dress and if any injuries are sustained that aren't particularly obvious.

Maybe next week.
