Harbaugh: 'I'm not leaving Michigan'

Earlier on Tuesday, a couple Michigan players said Jim Harbaugh let the team know he wasn't leaving the program, despite rumors linking him to the Los Angeles Rams vacancy.

Now the man himself has spoken, and he sounds about as definitive as possible.

"I'm not leaving Michigan," Harbaugh said at the team's annual football banquet, as per Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com. "I'm not even considering it. A lot of this talk is coming from our enemies. From coaches who, and you know the names. You probably know the names of the top three that I'm referring to. They like to say (I'm leaving) to the media, they like to tell that to recruits and their families to try to manipulate them into going into another school besides Michigan. We know them as jive turkeys."

It's unclear which three coaches Harbaugh is talking about, although he wasn't exactly a popular individual during his crusade to run satellite camps all over the country last summer. Michigan recruits on a national level, so he could be referring to just about any program in the country, although it's likely he's speaking about Big Ten rivals.

This isn't the first time he's used the term "jive turkey" either. In 2013, as coach of the San Francisco 49ers, he gave a humorous press conference in which he also used the term.
