Report: Fleck nearing extension with Western Michigan

Western Michigan is close to finalizing a contract extension with head coach P.J. Fleck, reports Tony Paul of the Detroit News.
Terms of the pending agreement are unknown, but the deal will reportedly include additional years and a significant raise. Fleck is currently signed through 2020.
Fleck rose to prominence this season after leading the Broncos to a 13-0 record and an appearance in the Cotton Bowl. His name was linked to several higher-profile positions down the stretch of the season, but it seems as though he could be staying put in Kalamazoo.
