Jadar Johnson isn't sure who Lamar Jackson is: 'That's who, No. 8?'
If Jadar Johnson woke up Tuesday with the goal of lighting a fire under Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, he may have succeeded.
Ahead of Saturday's showdown between No. 3 Louisville and No. 5 Clemson, the Tigers safety suggested to reporters he's not entirely sure who plays quarterback for the Cardinals, knowing only his jersey number.
Jadar Johnson is asked about Lamar Jackson and says "That's who, No. 8?" Asked what he'd do if Jackson tries to hurdle him: "Body slam him."

"I only see the game film, and I don't hear his name on that," Johnson said.
I did follow up with Johnson on the "No. 8" thing. Said he doesn't watch ESPN highlights and knows only the numbers he sees from film study.

Jackson has taken the college football world by storm this year, and he leads the FBS in touchdowns through four games while engineering the nation's top-ranked offense.
However, that film Johnson spoke about seemed to show nothing that would lead him to believe the Tigers will be in trouble Saturday night.
"I don't really feel like we have to step out of our element or jump up another notch to stop him," Johnson said. "We have the tools and the skill set to limit him, and I don't really see any worries with him."
