Harvard's Patrick Steeves to transfer
Harvard guard Patrick Steeves is leaving the program and will transfer to another school for the 2016-17 campaign.
Steeves wasn't sure he wanted to leave Harvard, but started considering it in December following a tournament.
"The time when I got a feel for whether that would be possible was after the Hawaii tournament," Steeves told David Freed of The Crimson. "That’s when people started talking about it and I considered it a real option."
The senior would be a graduate transfer, making him eligible to play immediately. After battling injuries during his first three years at Harvard, he is also attempting to get a waiver for an additional year of eligibility from the NCAA.
Steeves could help a team in need of 3-point shooting, as the guard shot an impressive 45.8 percent from downtown last season.
