Calipari has a career 635-178 college coaching record, and is 190-38 with the Wildcats. He's led teams to five Final Four appearances and one championship, with Kentucky in 2012.
The report caps a whirlwind 12 hours for Calipari. His Wildcats finally lost Saturday night, to Wisconsin in the Final Four, ending their dream of an undefeated season. Kentucky finishes the season with a 38-1 record.
Calipari's been the man on the sidelines in Kentucky since 2009. Before that, he piled up wins in Memphis, compiling a 252-69 record in nine seasons with the Tigers.
Calipari's coaching career began in Massachusetts, in 1988. He had a 193-71 record with the Minutemen.
An official announcement is expected Monday.
