VIDEO: Charles Barkley thinks Cliff Alexander is playing well
Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith take a lot of heat every time they jump over from coverage of the NBA to put in work during March Madness. While the two undoubtedly know their basketball, they don't have the same kind of expertise when it comes to the college game as they do for the pros.
That couldn't have been any clearer Saturday.
During halftime of the Wichita State-Kansas game, Barkley said that Cliff Alexander needs to keep dunking and that he's playing pretty good.
There's just one problem: Alexander's not playing against the Shockers.
Due to eligibility issues over an alleged loan taken out by his mother, Alexander has not played since Feb. 28 and is not even with the team for March Madness. Mistakes happen, but this is a pretty egregious error from Barkley.
