Selection process: The 10-person NCAA tournament selection committee is chaired by Scott Barnes, the athletic director at Utah State. The committee will chose a 68-team field composed of 32 conference champions (automatic qualifiers) and 36 at-large teams.
What they're playing for: The Final Four will be held in Indianapolis for the seventh time. Games will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium for the second time. In 2010, Duke defeated Butler in the final to claim its fourth national title. The stadium has a capacity of approximately 70,000.
Spoiler alert: Dan Gavitt, NCAA vice president of men's basketball championships, announced in an interview with CBS on Saturday that Kentucky would be the No. 1 overall seed regardless of the outcome of the SEC championship game.
In the hunt for a No. 1 seed: Kentucky, Duke, Virginia, Villanova, Wisconsin, Arizona and Gonzaga.
On the bubble: Boise State, BYU, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, LSU, Miami, Murray State, Old Dominion, Ole Miss, Temple, Texas, Texas A&M, Tulsa and UCLA.
