Syracuse's Chris McCullough done for season with torn ACL
Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports
Syracuse forward Chris McCullough will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL, Orange coach Jim Boeheim confirmed Monday.
McCullough suffered the injury during Saturday's 70-57 win over Florida State.
McCullough, a freshman, averaged 9.3 points and 6.9 rebounds along with 2.1 blocks per game.
The 6-foot-10, 220-pounder came into the season with tons of hype; many scouts expected that he could potentially be a lottery pick or at least a first-round selection if he were to declare for the NBA draft at season's end.
