NCAA Game Summary - Air Force vs. Army

Lexington, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tre Coggins led the way with 20 points as Air Force knocked off Army, 79-68, for the third straight year at the All- Military Classic.

Kamryn Williams added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Air Force (1-0), which will face either the Citadel or host VMI in the tournament final on Saturday. The Citadel and VMI play later on Friday.

Max Yon and Darrius Parker each had 12 points for the Falcons, who used a second-half run to take command of the game.

Army took a 30-28 lead at the half. However, that changed after the break when with 11:08 remaining and trailing 49-44, Air Force went on a 26-10 run over eight minutes to break the game open.

Yon began the run with a steal for a fastbreak dunk, then proceeded to tie it at 49-49 by knocking down a three with 10:29 left. Darrius Parker ended the burst with a jumper for a 70-59 lead. Air Force cruised to the finish from there.

Williams scored 12 of his points in the second half.

Yon hit all three of his three-pointers and added five assists.

Tanner Omlid came off the bench to give the Black Knights (0-1) a spark in his collegiate debut, scoring 18 points. Kyle Wilson was the only other double- digit scorer for Army, tallying 10 points.

Army will face the loser of the second game in the consolation contest on Saturday.

Air Force will be looking to capture their third consecutive tournament title.
