With two of the first four play-in games set to go Tuesday night to kick off the 78th edition of March Madness, the oddsmakers have updated who the betting favorites are.
After opening with the second-best odds, North Carolina is now considered the top dog, passing fellow ACC counterpart Duke, who opened as the favorite. The Tar Heels are now listed at 5/1 by Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.
The Blue Devils are now at 7/1 odds, right behind Kansas, who moved up one spot and are now being listed at 6/1.
Villanova remained the same at 8/1, while Gonzaga had its odds improved to 9/1. Arizona and Kentucky are tied with 10/1 odds, while Louisville and UCLA are the same at 15/1.
