NCAA Game Summary - Portland State at Eastern Washington

Cheney, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyle Richardson led all five starters in double figures with 22 points as the Portland State Vikings claimed an 87-76 victory over the Eastern Washington Eagles in a Big Sky Conference joust at Reese Court.

Marcus Hall added 16 points for Portland State (13-12, 8-8 Big Sky), which has won back-to-back games following a four-game slide. Tim Douglas and Andre Winston each tallied 14 points and Gary Winston chipped in 12.

Tyler Harvey netted a game-high 23 points for Eastern Washington (13-14, 8-8), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Venky Jois chimed in with 18 points and nine rebounds and Martin Seiferth contributed 13 points.

At halftime Portland State clung to a 31-30 lead. The Vikings knocked down 13- of-34 shots from the field, and held a slight edge from beyond the arc (9-3) in the period. Eastern Washington knocked down 13-of-28 during the frame.

Both teams heated up in the second half, but it was Portland State's 60.7 percent shooting effort in the final 20 minutes that won out. The Eagles were just behind at 55.6 percent.

The Vikings had a 33-12 scoring advantage from 3-point range. The Eagles were the better team inside, with a 46-34 edge on points in the paint.
