NCAA Game Summary - UC Davis at Hawaii

Honolulu, HI (SportsNetwork.com) - Christian Standhardinger registered 29 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors past the UC Davis Aggies, 86-77, in a Big West Conference bout at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Standhardinger shot 10-of-15 from the field and 9-of-12 at the foul line for Hawaii (19-8, 8-5 Big West), which has won four of five. Isaac Fotu also tallied a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards, while Garrett Nevels and Brandon Spearman netted 13 and 10 points, respectively.

For UC Davis (8-19, 3-9), losers of four straight, Corey Hawkins matched a game-high with 29 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Clint Bozner added 16 points for the visitors.

Hawaii carried a comfortable 44-31 advantage into the halftime locker room after shooting a lofty 57.7 percent from the field in the first half, compared to 45.8 percent for UC Davis.

The Rainbow Warriors extended their lead to as many as 17 in the second half, and while the Aggies brought their deficit to single digits late in the game, Hawaii sealed its fate by shooting 6-of-6 from the free-throw line over the final 1:27.

Hawaii finished the contest with a .571 field goal percentage, and it outscored UC Davis in the paint, 40-26.
