NCAA Game Summary - UCLA at Washington State

Pullman, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ike Iroegbu and Que Johnson both netted 14 points off the bench, as the Washington State Cougars defended their home court with a 73-55 victory over the UCLA Bruins in the Pac-12 Conference regular-season finale at Beasley Coliseum.

D.J. Shelton tallied a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for WSU (10-20, 3-15 Pac-12), which halted an eight-game losing streak. Dexter Kernich-Drew added 10 points for the hosts.

Kyle Anderson logged 19 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for UCLA (23-8, 12-6), which has lost three of five but will still act as the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. Bryce Alford came off the bench to score 10.

WSU led at halftime, 34-26, after shooting 40 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, including 7-of-16 from beyond the arc. UCLA, meanwhile, made just 33.3 percent of its tries from the floor.

The Cougars pulled away even further early in the second half with a 14-2 run and cruised to the victory from there.

WSU's bench outscored UCLA's reserves, 40-16.
