NCAA Game Summary - USC at Washington

Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - CJ Wilcox finished with 24 points and eight rebounds as the Washington Huskies defeated the USC Trojans, 82-75, in a Pac-12 Conference clash at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Andrew Andrews added 19 points for the Huskies (17-14, 9-9 Pac-12), who have won three of their last four games. Shawn Kemp, Jr. chipped in 12 points while Nigel Williams-Gross had nine assists.

Nikola Jovanovic tallied 21 points and eight boards for the Trojans (11-20, 2-16), who have lost 10 of their last 11 contests. Byron Wesley logged 19 points and Pe'Shon Howard netted 13.

USC shot 43.3 percent from the field in the opening frame, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, as it led 37-35 at the half. Washington made just 32.4 percent of its field goal tries but went 10-of-11 at the free-throw line.

The Huskies played better in the second period as they shot 46.7 percent from the floor and went 27-of-31 at the charity stripe. Washington started the half on a 22-3 run and were never in any real danger after that point.

In a game that featured seven ties and nine lead changes, the Huskies won the meeting at the free-throw line where they outscored the visitors, 27-20.
