NCAA Game Summary - Missouri at Tennessee

Knoxville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarnell Stokes registered a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Tennessee Volunteers cruised to a 72-45 win over the Missouri Tigers in the SEC regular-season finale for both squads at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Coming up with a game-high 16 points for Tennessee (20-11, 11-7 SEC) was Antonio Barton, while Jordan McRae accounted for 11 points. Jeronne Maymon pitched in with 10 rebounds for the Vols as they closed out the schedule with four straight wins and five in the last six outings overall.

Missouri (21-10, 9-9), which had a brief two-game win streak come to an end, was led by Jordan Clarkson with his 13 points, the only player on the roster to reach double figures, even as he shot only 4-of-12 from the field.

Tennessee scored the first points of the day and never looked back, moving out to an impressive 37-19 advantage at the break as the defense held the Tigers to a mere seven field goals and 1-of-8 shooting behind the 3-point line through the first 20 minutes of action.

In the second half Missouri again struggled on the outside (1-of-9) and converted a total of eight baskets, en route to the lopsided setback.

The Volunteers led by as many as 31 points in the meeting, thanks in large part to posting a 45-28 advantage on the glass, limiting the visitors to a mere five offensive rebounds on the afternoon.
