NCAA Game Summary - Vanderbilt at Ole Miss

Oxford, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Marshall Henderson scored 18 points, as the Ole Miss Rebels closed out their SEC regular-season schedule with a 65-62 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Jarvis Summers chipped in with 12 points to help the Rebels (18-13, 9-9 SEC) pick up a much needed win after entering the day with losses in six of their previous seven outings.

Dai-Jon Parker scored a career-high 25 points for the Commodores (15-15, 7-11), who have lost four in a row and seven of nine overall. Luke Kornet and Damian Jones rounded out the double-figure scorers with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Vandy claimed a 37-32 halftime lead after holding Ole Miss to 9-of-26 (.346) shooting from the floor in the opening frame.

The Commodores stretched their lead to as many as 12 early in the second stanza before the Rebels came charging back. Henderson scored 11 points during the second-half rally, including a pair of free throws with 3:36 remaining to put Ole Miss on top, 61-60. Vandy had a chance to tie the score in the final seconds but could not get a 3-pointer to fall at the buzzer.

Ole Miss committed only five turnovers for the game and forced 17.
