NCAA Game Summary - Oregon at USC

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Led by 20 points and 12 rebounds from Mike Moser, the Oregon Ducks easily handled the USC Trojans, 78-63, in a Pac-12 Conference bout at the Galen Center.

For the Ducks (20-8, 8-8 Pac-12), Joseph Young added 16 points, Jason Calliste scored 13 and Elgin Cook chipped in 12.

Pe'Shon Howard led the Trojans (10-19, 1-15) with 20 points, while Byron Wesley added 12 points.

The teams shot an identical 46.2 percent (12-of-26) from the field in the first half and entered the locker room knotted at 36-36. USC had a 10-7 scoring edge on the free-throw line in the half, but Oregon was better from deep, knocking down 5-of-13 from beyond the arc to just 2-of-8 for the Trojans.

After the break, the Ducks made 44.8 percent of their field goal tries, but just 2-of-11 from 3-point range. They held the Trojans to just 39.1 shooting in the half. Leading by one, 61-60 with nine minutes left in regulation, the Ducks dominated the Trojans down the stretch, outscoring them 17-3 the rest of the way, as they rolled to victory.

Oregon had a decided advantage on the glass, outrebounding USC 35-26. The Ducks also dominated from the perimeter, outscoring the Trojans from beyond the arc, 21-9.
