Tuscaloosa, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Levi Randolph scored 24 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Alabama Crimson Tide over the Auburn Tigers, 73-57, in an intrastate Southeastern Conference tilt at Coleman Coliseum.

For the Crimson Tide (12-17, 6-10 SEC), Trevor Releford added 16 points and seven assists, Retin Obasohan chipped in with 13 points and Jimmie Taylor finished with four blocks. . KT Harrell scored 21 points to lead the Tigers (13-14, 5-11), while Asauhn Dixon-Tatum pulled down 11 rebounds.

Alabama connected on 48 percent of its shots from the field to start the game, including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. Leading by just two, 12-10, with 13 minutes to play in the first, the Crimson Tide broke the game open with a 17-2 run and went into halftime with a commanding lead, 36-21. Auburn struggled from the field in the opening period, shoot just 27.6 percent, though the team did make 4-of-10 from 3-point range.

After the break, the Crimson Tide stayed hot, knocking down 50 percent of their field goal tries, including 4-of-8 from deep. The Tigers did not improve their shooting in the second half, hitting on just 27.5 percent from the field and missing all but one of their 17 shots from 3-point range in the half. Alabama saw its lead balloon to as many as 21 points in the second half, as the Crimson Tide coasted to the easy win.

The Crimson Tide dominated on the perimeter, outscoring the Tigers, 30-15, from 3-pint distance. The Tigers did finish with a 46-38 rebounding advantage.
