NCAA Game Summary - UNLV at Air Force

USAFA, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Khem Birch registered a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds as the UNLV Runnin' Rebels completed a 93-67 rout of the Air Force Falcons in a Mountain West Conference tilt at Clune Arena.

Deville Smith also scored 15 points for UNLV (19-10, 6-10 MWC), which received 12 points courtesy of Kendall Smith. Kevin Olekaibe added 11 points, while Roscoe Smith, Bryce Dejean-Jones and Jelan Kendrick netted 10 points apiece. Dejean-Jones dealt out seven assists and Roscoe Smith pulled down eight boards to help the Runnin' Rebels pick up their second consecutive decision.

Tre' Coggins led the Falcons (11-16, 9-7) with 14 points on 5-of-16 shooting from the floor. Max Yon and Zach Kocur scored 11 points each, while Kamryn Williams posted 10 points and seven boards. The loss was the third in four games for Air Force.

UNLV connected on 60.6 percent of its field goal attempts, including a 7-of-11 clip from 3-point range in the opening 20 minutes of the contest. The Falcons went into the intermission facing a 51-34 deficit after they were limited to 42.3 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

The Runnin' Rebels extended their advantage on the scoreboard after the break by hitting on 63.6 percent of their shots from the field and converting 9- of-13 shots at the charity stripe. Air Force went 5-of-16 from beyond the arc in the second stanza.

UNLV dominated on the interior as it outscored the Falcons, 32-22, in the paint and finished with a 45-25 edge in total rebounds.
