NCAA Game Summary - South Florida at Rutgers

City, ST (SportsNetwork.com) - Kadeem Jack scored 20 points, including the go- ahead bucket on a jumper with 11 seconds left, as the Rutgers Scarlet Knights rallied for a 74-73 win over the South Florida Bulls in an American Athletic Conference tilt inside The RAC.

J.J. Moore also scored 20 points to go along with seven rebounds for the Scarlet Knights (11-18, 5-11 AAC), who snapped a four-game slide and swept the regular-season series with USF.

The Bulls (12-17, 3-13) suffered their sixth straight loss, despite a game- high 26 points and nine rebounds from Victor Rudd. John Egbunu and Zach Leday also reached double figures with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

USF shot 58.6 percent from the floor in the first half while Rutgers shot just 34.3 percent. The Bulls used a 14-4 run to take a 24-22 lead, and they eventually went into the locker room with a 42-32 halftime advantage.

The Bulls led by as many as 15 early in the second stanza before going cold, as they went on to shoot just 8-of-26 (.308) from the floor over the final 20 minutes. Following Jack's go-ahead basket in the waning moments, USF had a couple of looks at the other end of the floor but could not get anything to fall as time expired.

The Scarlet Knights' comeback from 15 points down marked the largest deficit the team has overcome since rallying back from a 17-point margin at DePaul on Feb. 16, 2010.
