NCAA Game Summary - Cornell at Harvard

Cambridge, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Siyani Chambers led all scorers with 15 points, as the Harvard Crimson made easy work of the Cornell Big Red, 72-47, in Ivy League action at Lavietes Pavilion.

Chambers shot 4-of-6 from 3-point range for Harvard (23-4, 10-1 Ivy), which has won five in a row. Brandyn Curry added 12 points for the hosts, while Kyle Casey netted 10.

For Cornell (2-23, 1-10), losers of four straight, Darryl Smith and Dwight Tarwater poured in 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Harvard set the tone early on by shooting 52.4 percent from the field and 8- of-8 at the free-throw line in the first half on its way to a commanding 34-18 lead at intermission. Cornell shot a modest 40 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes and failed to make a free throw.

The Crimson's hot field goal shooting continued in the second half (.500) as they cruised to the 25-point victory.

Harvard dominated the rebounding battle, 34-18, and outscored Cornell in the paint, 22-14.
