NCAA Game Summary - Wyoming at Colorado State

Fort Collins, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Daniel Bejarano came within an assist of posting a triple-double as he tallied 20 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for the Colorado State Rams during their 82-67 win over the Wyoming Cowboys in the 220th meeting of the Border War.

Jon Octeus delivered a game-high 23 points for the Rams (15-13, 6-9 MWC) at home in Moby Arena, followed by Joe De Ciman with 12 points on a perfect 4- of-4 shooting behind the 3-point line before fouling out. JJ Avila and Carlton Hurst pitched in with 11 and 10 points, respectively, as the team snapped a three-game slide.

The Cowboys (17-10, 8-6) were paced by Nathan Sobey with 15 points and Josh Adams 11, the latter shooting just 3-of-11 from the floor before picking up his fifth personal foul.

Wyoming converted a total of just nine field goals in the first half, but four of those were from long range. The team also helped itself with 9-of-12 shooting at the free-throw line, resulting in a 31-31 tie at the break.

After converting 43.3 percent from the field through the first 20 minutes of action, CSU erupted for 58.6 percent accuracy in the second half, including 5- of-9 beyond the arc, en route to the 15-point win.

The Rams turned the ball over just five times and produced a huge 37-21 rebounding advantage, limiting the visitors to just two offensive rebounds on the day.

The Cowboys played their first game without leading scorer and rebounder Larry Nance Jr. who is now out for the rest of the season following right knee surgery.
