NCAA Game Summary - George Washington at Dayton

Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Devin Oliver scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the Dayton Flyers captured a 75-65 win over the George Washington Colonials in Atlantic 10 Conference action at UD Arena.

Jordan Sibert and Vee Sanford both tallied 13 points for the Flyers (14-8, 2-5 A-10), followed by Khari Price with 11 points as the team snapped a four-game slide.

The Colonials (17-4, 5-2) were paced by Patricio Garino and Isaiah Armwood who both tallied 19 points, the latter pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds, while Kevin Larsen recorded a double-double of his own with 14 points and 10 boards as the team had a five-game win streak come to an end.

Dayton made good on 50 percent from the field in the first half, including 5- of-10 from 3-point range, as the team slipped out to a 38-29 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Flyers dipped to just 9-of-23 (.391) from the floor, but made up for it with a near-perfect 15-of-16 at the free-throw line, en route to the double-digit win.

George Washington, which was outscored at the charity stripe, 18-8, played without leading scorer Maurice Creek (14.4 ppg) due to illness.
