Report: Lakers 'likely' to pursue Nick Young trade this summer
Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports
It's been a rough week for Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young.
Not only did a secret recording - taped by teammate D'Angelo Russell - leak with regards to Young's off-court activities, "Swaggy P's" name might be swirling in trade rumors once again.
The Lakers will likely try to deal Young in the offseason, Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Granted, finding a suitor might prove difficult. The team tried to deal Young in each of the last two seasons, but with his production steadily declining, and with another two years left on his current contract, they found no deal to be suitable.
Young is averaging 7.3 points per game on 33.9 percent shooting and is owed $11 million over the next two seasons.
