Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture in Wednesday's win over the Miami Heat.

Randle pulled out Sam Cassell's "Big Onions" celebration after hitting the game-winner.

A host of players have been punished for borrowing Cassell's infamous celebration, dating back to when the league started cracking down on it in 2011. Cassell himself injured his hip executing the move during a crucial playoff game in 2004.

Randle, who will make just under $3 million this season, is averaging 11.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 28.1 minutes in what's effectively his rookie season.
