Ross (hand) won't play Saturday against the Pelicans, Raptors radio play-by-play broadcaster Eric Smith reports.

Analysis:

Ross's left thumb is still bothering him, so he'll be sidelined for a second straight contest. His absence will test the Raptors' depth on the wing while DeMarre Carroll (knee) remains out as well, which will force Dwane Casey to lean more heavily on the likes of Norman Powell and James Johnson.
