As if the basketball world needed another example of James Harden and Dwight Howard not being on the same page.
With the Houston Rockets down two in the dying seconds of Tuesday's game in Oklahoma City, the Rockets appeared to be running a well-executed play to get Howard open and rolling to the rim.
The problem? Harden's errant alley-oop pass had no chance of reaching Howard where the big man wanted it, and Dion Waiters eventually tapped the ball away to seal the deal for OKC.
J.B. Bickerstaff's face says it all, although it's fair to wonder how much the imperfect inbound pass - which Harden nearly overran - contributed to the failed play.
