The Cleveland Cavaliers were without the services of Kevin Love on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets, as the power forward sat out with an illness.
Channing Frye got second start as a Cavalier with Love out. Cleveland is 7.2 points per possession better offensively this season with the oft-maligned Love on the floor.
Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue has said that resting players will take priority over the pursuit of the Eastern Conference's No. 1 seed. LeBron James rested last Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
