After experiencing a migraine during Saturday's loss in Washington, Carmelo Anthony was held out of Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings.

Anthony battled through the pain Saturday to post 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 40 minutes of action, but with the New York Knicks simply playing out the remainder of the schedule at this point, there's not much reason for 'Melo to take the court at less than 100 percent.

While not yet mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, the Knicks enter play Sunday eight games behind the Eastern Conference's eighth and final playoff spot with only 12 games remaining.

Anthony is averaging 21.8 points, eight rebounds, and 4.2 assists for the Knicks, who will miss the postseason for a third consecutive year, although his effective field-goal percentage of 47.1 is his worst in four years.
