Kerr trolls refs after loss: 'I need to write down that traveling is now allowed'

Between Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge, the San Antonio Spurs' All-Stars made a number of game-changing plays down the stretch of Saturday's victory over the Golden State Warriors.

And between all those free throws, jumpers, and offensive rebounds from Leonard and Aldridge, it's easy to forget that what will go down as the winning bucket in the pivotal contest between the league's top two teams was a Danny Green layup with 3:36 remaining.

But not for Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.

That basket from Green - which put the Spurs ahead 80-77 in a game they would eventually win 87-79 - looked like it may have been a travel, and was likely the play Kerr was referring to when he quipped about the rule following the game.

"I need to write down that traveling is now allowed in the NBA," Kerr said. "Silly me, I forgot that they got rid of that rule, so we'll have to adjust."

Kerr can likely expect a response from the NBA for his comments, while his Warriors will undoubtedly be looking for legitimate adjustments to make before they take on the Spurs again on April 7 and 10.
