Warriors' Bogut suffers toe injury vs. Mavs, unlikely to play vs. Spurs
The Golden State Warriors picked up yet another victory in their march towards history on Friday, but they may have lost a starter in the process.
Andrew Bogut suffered an injury to his left big toe during a 130-112 win over the Dallas Mavericks, and head coach Steve Kerr didn't sound optimistic about Bogut's status for Saturday's massive showdown in San Antonio.
"My guess is he won't play tomorrow," Kerr said following Friday's game.
Bogut, who appeared in his 60th game of the season on Friday, is averaging 5.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 blocks in over 21 minutes per game.
With Festus Ezeli still sidelined, Marreese Speights and Anderson Varejao would figure to pick up Bogut's minutes if he's forced to miss time - when the Warriors aren't playing small, of course.
