Ty Lawson out for Pacers against Mavericks
FOX Sports
It's hardly been an auspicious start for the Ty Lawson era with the Indiana Pacers.
Lawson will not play Saturday due to a foot injury when the Pacers visit the Dallas Mavericks. The point guard sprained his left foot during his first game for Indiana on Monday night. Lawson played five minutes in a surprising win over the San Antonio Spurs, dishing out two assists.
Lawson played the worst basketball of his career in his 53-game tenure in Houston this season, hitting career lows in every major statistical category. He accepted a buyout from the Rockets earlier this month.
