Iguodala suffers ankle injury in win over Blazers, will undergo MRI

The Golden State Warriors won their 47th straight regular-season home game Friday night, but this one may have come at a cost.

Super-sub swingman Andre Iguodala suffered a sprained left ankle in the third quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers while fighting for a loose ball with Damian Lillard.

The good news for Iguodala, who stayed in the game to shoot the ensuing free throws before heading straight to the locker room, is that X-rays on the ankle were negative. The reigning Finals MVP will undergo an MRI on Saturday.

Iguodala had eight points, two rebounds, and two assists in 15 minutes before suffering the injury, which has left him questionable for Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns.

The 32-year-old came into Friday's game averaging 7.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.2 steals off the Warriors' bench.
