Analysis:
The 17-year veteran will now set his sights on joining a playoff contending team in need of point guard depth. Since he was released prior to the March 1 deadline, he'll be eligible for postseason play. The 39-year-old has seen his minutes plummet since the All-Star break, as rookie Tyus Jones has taken on a larger role with the team.
