The good news: the Dallas Mavericks hit a franchise-record 19 3-pointers Friday against the Orlando Magic. The bad news: they lost in overtime. More potential bad news: Chandler Parsons and Zaza Pachulia got into a bit of a shoving match during the extra period.

Good news: both players said it was nothing serious.

"Nothing at all, nothing," Pachulia said afterward, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon. "It's not the thing you guys are thinking. Trust me, we were talking. We're trying to help this team. We're trying to win, bottom line."

The Mavericks small forward and center appeared quite animated after Parsons tied the game with a jumper with under two minutes left in overtime.

"He set a great screen," Parsons said of Pachulia. "I got a wide-open pull-up. It really was nothing. I was telling him, 'Good screen.' He was telling me, 'Good shot.'

"Stop digging."

Unfortunately for Dallas, it was outscored 9-3 after Parsons' bucket to lose 110-104.

Parsons accounted for six of the Mavs' 19 treys and scored 24 points. Pachulia added 11 points and 19 rebounds.

Nikola Vucevic led the victorious Magic with 21 points and 12 boards, while Victor Oladipo scored 17 with a career-high 14 rebounds. Brandon Jennings had 18 points in his Orlando debut.
