Andre Drummond failed to advance out of the first round of Saturday's All-Star Slam Dunk competition, which was eventually won by Zach LaVine.

Drummond failed to advance out of the first round of Saturday's Verizon Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend in Toronto.

Analysis:

The Pistons center had a lackluster first dunk, but redeemed himself somewhat on his second effort, in which he received an alley-oop off the foot of Canadian legend Steve Nash, which Drummond converted into a windmill jam. With both the Timberwolves' Zach LaVine and the Magic's Aaron Gordon putting on exceptional performances, however, it wasn't enough to allow Drummond to advance to the final round.
