Analysis:

Wright underwent arthroscopic surgery mid-December, but is now projected to be just a week or so away from being available to play, which falls in line with his original six-to-eight week recovery timetable. We'll likely have to wait for further updates once the break begins, but at the very least, it's clear that Wright is almost ready to play. As soon as he returns to the court, Wright could be called upon to play a big role for the Grizzlies after Marc Gasol (broken foot) was recently ruled out indefinitely.
