McDaniels was called up by the Rockets just a few days earlier, only to be quickly sent back to the D-League to see some added court time. He's now back with the Rockets, but finding minutes in the NBA has been a major problem for McDaniels this season. He's made only 15 appearances and is averaging 3.9 minutes.
