Curry, Thompson, Lowry headline Three-Point Contest
Seven shooters will battle reigning champion Stephen Curry in the Three-Point Contest at All-Star weekend.
Toronto's Kyle Lowry, Milwaukee's Khris Middleton, Golden State's Klay Thompson, Phoenix's Devin Booker, Los Angeles' J.J. Redick, Miami's Chris Bosh, and Houston's James Harden will try to unseat Curry as the league's best long-range shooter.
Curry, who scored 27 points in the championship round to capture the title in last year's competition, is in the midst of the greatest shooting season of all time. He's on pace for over 400 threes this season, which would easily shatter the current NBA record (also held by Curry) of 286.
The field, however, is no slouch. Curry's teammate Thompson had 24 points in the opening round last year, and Redick leads the league in 3-point percentage.
