There's an intriguing collection of young talent in the Midwest.
While NBA newbies like Karl-Anthony Towns, Zach LaVine, Shabazz Muhammad, and Tyus Jones forming the Minnesota Timberwolves' youthful core, young holdovers Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins represent arguably the team's two most important pieces.
Rubio - a 25-year-old dime machine - and Wiggins - a 20-year-old high-flyer - connected on a halfcourt alley-oop Wednesday night, starting their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a bang.
